Playing around with my photographs

My newest toy is a software that allows me to mess around with photographs and creating silhouttes, cartoons, sketches etc with them...

My first attempt were the most common and famous sights of Egypt! This is what it looks like! Quite nice, well, at least my 7 year old son thought so!

Oooh! I love these!!! No way to pick a favorite - they are all beautiful! Is this Photoshop? or something else?? I have Photoshop and a Wacom drawing tablet and ... when I have time :-p ... like to play. I still have a lot to learn, but it is fascinating what you can do. For gifts one year I made a collage of pictures of the kids, went to Snapfish.com, and turned the photo into a puzzle.

btw... my blog is at http://whaleears.blogspot.com/ but the link might be working today. Through the weekend, it seemed that only certain sites were down, others worked just fine. Very strange.

Salah, sure..

Connie, I am so glad you liked them...I am so tempted to use them somewhere, but have not yet figured out where!

The software is a simple freeware called Picture to Cartoon. I downloaded it to do some stuff for my son, but ended up having a lot of fun with it myself!

The puzzle thing sounds like a lot of fun. Shall try and do it for my son.

Tahnsk fo rthe link. Shall check it out today. Inshaallah, the net will not play up!
