American Indian?

Very amused. I’ve had at least three people asking me if I was from the US?

Shucks, don’t tell me I’ve acquired an accent!

I, sometimes, make fun of people who travel overseas for a couple of months, and, acquire an accent. Omigosh, I’m becoming one of them!

Shall very carefully watch how I speak over the next few days!!

Hey...your blog is the only piece of informal information that i wanted on "Life for an Indian in Cairo" . Thanks.

I am 30 yr old single woman , planning to relocate to cairo in dec 07 for a job. This assignment may be a couple of years long (or less if i fail to adapt to the lifestyle there!).

Is there anything in specific that you would want me to know about Cairo as an Indian single female , who try her luck staying in this city for the next 2 years?

Its a great city to live in and have fun. despite what people will tell you, its reasonably safe as long as you dont go out and ask for trouble.

have not been able to update the blog cos I have been travelling and have had visitors for the last 2 months but I have single women friends (Indians) working here and they are having a great time...

The only thing that you'll miss is having ndian food / groceries available easily... men are like men anywheer.. you'll attract a lot of attention if you happen to b fair and light haired.. otherwise you're ok... they love Indianas and indian movies so expect Amitabh Bacchan to be called out to you from every nook and corner .. otherwise, they are warm and firdly...

workwise you'll find the average indian in much brighter, more enthu and has more enterprise...

just email if you need any help / info at all.....

cheers
