Blogging on Bombay

Have finally roused myself to begin blogging on my stay in Bombay (http://living-in-mumbai-manisha.blogspot.com or http://www.living-in-mumbai-manisha.blogspot.com )! But somehow, its much slower.. as someone said, familiarity breeds contempt - having stayed here so long, its almost like I know Bombay so well that sometimes I wonder what do I want to blog about! But Bombay has changed so much in the last 6 years that I have been away! I just need to get a little less lazy!!!

Hi Manisha!
I tried your new blog link several times but it says 'not exits'...
I'll come back later if the problem was in my connection or something.
Have a nice day!
ps. been missing your great posts!

Greetings Manisha,

I'm sorry to fill your comments with this, but I'm not sure how else to ask. I found your blog through the CSA info sheet, and as a new blogger, was wondering if it was possible to exchange links. I have not done this with anyone yet, so I'm not sure how it works. But you have linked to many already, so if you have some pointers, I'd love to hear it. My blog, if you are interested, is at www.asenseofbelonging.wordpress.com. It deals with my reflections on our life here in Egypt, where we have lived since August. Sorry to bug you if this is unhelpful, but thanks for considering it.

Hi there! No problems at all... I remember when I first started blogging, what a nightmare it was .. in terms of figuring basic features... I dont think I still use half the features!

Sure, be happy to exchnage links and def read your blog but if you want to add links just go to the Dashboard and choose "Layout". Click on "add a gadget" and it will give you myriad options from adding a link, search facility on the blog, adding a HTML code etc.....

Hope this was useful?

Have fun in Cairo. Its an awesome place!!!

A wonderful and thoughtful blog. I am "leading" a family of 4 to cairo and egypt in march 2010 and desperately trying to get a sense of "locality" vs getting rushed through as a typical tourist. I spent 2 weeks in Cairo in 1983 and had a magnificently interesting time. I would love to email / connect with you to get some further ideas of what sorts of "local" things we can do in Cairo to provide some sense to my kids (pair of 12's) of "real people" lives. ? shokran jb
